Moving Day New Hampshire is May 16, 2021!!
Put your passion to work! Sign up to volunteer for Moving Day New Hampshire, a powerful event to raise awareness and funds to make life better for people with Parkinson's.
To make this event a success, we rely on volunteers. Our events are promoted and run by committees that help with a wide variety of tasks that can be customized to your level of involvement, making this a perfect volunteer opportunity for everyone! Some of the planning committee roles are:
Moving Day Committee Volunteers - group of committed, passionate and connected volunteers that will help us achieve our event goals.
Logistics Lead - assist with planning of the event
Sponsorship Lead - help identify and cultivate sponsors
Volunteer Lead - recruit and train day of volunteers
Team Recruitment Lead - recruit community members, businesses, schools, organizations to join the event
PR/Marketing Lead - assist with general publicity of the event including social media promotion
Also, looking for volunteers to assist with day of general needs such as set-up, check-in, refreshment distribution, clean up, and other duties as needed.
These roles are easily handled by one or more persons and many can be supported on nights and weekends, however your schedule allows.

Time Commitment
Committee volunteers must be able to commit to attending regular monthly meetings and carrying out the duties of their position within the community. This can include driving to local businesses to solicit donations, sponsorship, or outreach. The more members we have the lighter the workload is on all of us, so please consider joining!
Our Impact
Funds raised through Moving Day support the Parkinson’s Foundation mission by delivering expert care to more than 193,500 people living with Parkinson’s; investing $4.2 million in research aimed at better treatment and care; and providing free resources for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
Moving Day
Moving Day is an inspiring and empowering annual fundraising walk event that unites over 20,000 people around the country living with PD, their care partners and loved ones to fight Parkinson’s. Moving Day is more than just a walk. It is a celebration of movement - proven to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms. Moving Day is among the largest Parkinson’s events in the country and provides great brand exposure to thousands of people in the Parkinson’s community.
The health and safety of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and staff are our top priority. Spring Moving Day events will move forward in person where permitted to do so, and always in accordance with local and state health guidance and regulations.
