NYC: Photography Teacher for Under-Resourced Small Businesses

Under-resourced small business owners are in need of high-resolution images of their products including food and retail products. The images are crucial for the businesses to have on their websites and social media pages.

Start Small Think Big is seeking enthusiastic and reliable photographers who are interested in volunteering their skills to help underserved small business entrepreneurs build and sustain their thriving businesses. You must have a passion for all aspects of photography, but an individual with a specific interest in food and product photography would be ideal.

We are specifically in need of photographers who have experience or are comfortable with VIRTUALLY teaching or directing entrepreneurs in taking their own product shots or portraits / headshots as we've placed all in-person engagements on-hold due to COVID. Entrepreneurs generally have a good quality camera phone although some have more advanced cameras.

Within the volunteer application, provide us with a link to your portfolio or examples of your work so that we can get a sense of your work. Please only apply if you have at least 3 years of professional experience.
