Our dog rescue is looking for an Adoption Coordinator in the Columbus area. The Adoption Coordinator position consists of processing applications according to our standards then picking the best home based on reference calls, vet checks, and home visits. You will need to be able to go to adopters homes with the dog picked for the home and make sure that it is a good environment and fit for them. Our adopters are required to live within a 1-hour radius of our two major locations, Columbus and Zanesville. We do not have a physically location so we coordinate everything digitally. Basic technological experience is a must.

Preferred: animal handling experience, animal rescue experience, application processing experience.

Mission Statement

Pawsitive Hearts is a startup organization dedicated to impacting the quality of life for abused, unwanted, or abandoned dogs.

Description

Here at Pawsitive Hearts, we are proud to be your local foster-based dog rescue in the Southeastern and Central Ohio areas. As a 501 c3 non-profit organization, we are 100% volunteer-based. We proudly assist in the prevention of euthanasia by reducing the overcrowding shelters experience. Since we are not a traditional shelter, we do not have a facility for our dogs, so we rely solely on a select list of fosters to provide a safe environment before adoption. All of our dogs are fully vetted by reputable veterinarians in the area, so you can be assured your new family member will be happy and healthy when they come home. Check out our site for a list of available dogs adoption application information today!
