We have a vibrant marketing team and need someone to direct, guide and lead them.
You will help us evolve our marketing strategies to engage different audiences in our programs relative to their own life stages and circumstances. You will build and optimize go-to market strategies, build organizational structure for marketing, and help mentor the marketing volunteers. You will play a key part in building marketing strategies for membership & educational programs and collaborating with other board members and team leads.
As a Board Member you will
Chair the marketing committee
Attend monthly board meetings (currently on zoom)
Donate to 50/50 Leadership at the level of $1,000 for the year and support fundraising efforts
Attend our annual fundraising gala and as many other events during the year as possible
We are a 100% volunteer organization thus we rely on the integrity, guidance and work of our Board members. Board members do not just govern the organization, they lead it. Each of our Chairs have volunteers to work with them as a team, and more volunteers can be obtained to complete your team.

Orientation to the Board
Meet with Board members to create strategy, timeline, and resources needed.
There is a 3-month trial - so both you and the team can see if it is a fit.

Our current programs provide financial literacy workshops and mentoring to young women who have grown up in foster care, who are homeless, formerly incarcerated, survived domestic violence or other adversities, a soon to be launched Investment program and a Cooking Show. Programs and events are informative, educational and entertaining in service to our mission to promote equity in women's leadership.

Since 2004 we have led leadership training programs; honored women who are making a difference around the world, and provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, are homeless, have been incarcerated or who have escaped domestic violence or sex trafficking. We provide programming to promote, inform, educate and inspire women to be leaders, and men to support them.
