Do you want to make an impact on women to promote and empower leadership? Do you want to help women at different life stages and circumstances to find programs and content that speak to their needs and motivate women to take action?
We are looking for a marketing professional looking to use your talent and expertise and to give back to the community, and to share our work with your networks. You will help us to evolve our marketing strategies to develop a customer-centered approach to engage different audiences in our programs relative to their own life stages and circumstances. You will continue to define and optimize our new brand messaging, define target audience segments relative to our programs. You will partner with the marketing team lead to build and optimize go-to market strategies, to build organizational structure for marketing, and to help to mentor a team of 20+ volunteers. You will play a key part in building marketing strategies for membership & educational programs and collaborating with other board members and team leads to build buy in and support.
To be a board member we ask that you:
Chair the marketing committee
Attend our monthly board meetings (currently on zoom)
Donate to 50/50 Leadership at the level of $1,000 for the year (or get donations from others for at least that amount)
Attend our annual fundraising gala and attend as many other events during the year as possible
We are a 100% volunteer organization thus we rely on the integrity, guidance and work of our Board members. Board members do not just govern the organization, they lead it. Each of our Chairs have volunteers to work with them as a team, and more volunteers can be obtained to complete your team.

There is a 3-month trial - so both you and the team can see if it is a fit.

Our current programs provide financial literacy workshops and mentoring to young women who have grown up in foster care, who are homeless, formerly incarcerated, survived domestic violence or sex trafficking or other adversities, a soon to be launched Investment program and a Cooking Show. We are establishing programming to address leadership issues for women in S.T.E.A.M., minorities, immigrants and that also address the issue of harassment. Programs are informative, educational and entertaining in service to our mission to promote equity in women's leadership.
