**Publicist may be located in any US location - this is a remote position**
**IMMEDIATE HIRE**
BGCM is seeking a publicist to assist with promoting our child stars. Child star's who are involved in the arts: acting, entertainment, broadcasting, performances, etc, need assistance getting the word out about the skills.
We are seeking a veteran publicist willing to:
- Volunteer/donate their time writing press releases, submitting to media outlets, and assisting with advancing child star's careers.
- Use his/her contacts to promote the child star's gifts and talents to individuals and various organizations for an opportunity to perform or appear.
- Aim for child stars to appear on various media outlets including but not limited to radio, tv, personal engagements, events, etc.
- Make initial contact via email and phone and follow up calls as needed.
- Update all social media with relevant and up to date information.
- Grow social media following and convert to dollars.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Community Center & Sportsplex, is a 501c3 nonprofit academic, arts & athletic center for youth & families founded on Christian principles, and is dedicated to instilling in each member that they have been specifically chosen by God to do magnificent things! Located in the heart of Jackson, NJ, we specialize in improving the self esteem of youth and families in surrounding suburban as well as underrepresented and underprivileged communities, while promoting integrity and stewardship, and offering, to youth in our surrounding states from Maine to North Carolina, an innovative opportunity to train, excel, and compete academically, artistically, and athletically.
