The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s. We had a very successful 2020 walk season and we are gearing up for 2021 and we need you! We are looking for all skillsets in SW Washington. We have openings in Team Recruitment, Team Retention, Sponsorship, Logistics, Mission. Advocacy and Marketing. We are meeting via zoom now and we don't know what the walk will look like next fall but we have lots of work to do to get ready!

Description

The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its offices in Portland, Bend and Medford, the Oregon Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).

  • We meet once a month online. Depending on your position and time of year, I would expect 3-4 hours a month. Most people find that what they are doing fits in with their day to day life. If you are out networking for your business this fits in nicely.
  • We are looking for people that are comfortable making phone calls, talking to people and want to help up rid the world of Alzheimer's and all other dementias.
