Volunteer Translator: RUSSIAN - for written materials
The Shadow Project
Thanks for your interest in volunteering with the Shadow Project!
As we expand our programming, we need to be able to communicate with students, parents, and community members in the language they feel most comfortable engaging in. As a Volunteer Translator, you'll help translate written materials. At the moment, we do not need verbal translation services.
We are in need of translation from English to RUSSIAN.
If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. To apply, please complete the application here: https://forms.gle/YfQSJ9SpD42JRw757.
As part of our commitment to advancing equity for diverse learners, we work to recruit and retain a diverse staff, volunteers, and board-one that welcomes and engages people with diverse, intersectional identities. We encourage and support applicants from all backgrounds to join us in our work. This includes -- but is in no way limited to -- people experiencing disability, BIPOC individuals, and LGBTQIA2S+.
About The Shadow Project
2165 ne broadway, suite 130, PORTLAND, OR 97232, US
The Shadow Project's mission is to make learning more accessible and engaging for children with learning challenges so they can achieve their full potential.
Founded by a Portland mom whose dyslexic son was ready to give up on school in second grade, the 15-year-old The Shadow Project has helped foster success for nearly 11,000 children in grades pre-K to eight whose special education needs include dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and speech/language and sensory disorders. With the conviction that all students can graduate from high school given access to the right supports, the nonprofit Shadow Project provides innovative tools and techniques tailored to diverse learners and supports teachers in integrating those tools into their classrooms.
