Awaken Pittsburgh is a small nonprofit that works to transform lives and systems through mindfulness-based social and emotional regulation practices.

We are looking for a volunteer to help us in marketing our programs. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Marketing strategist with social media savvy. This position will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy to support our nonprofit’s mission.

Our Marketing strategist position involves a variety of tasks, including designing digital marketing campaigns and performing market research.

This Marketing and Social Media Coordinator will market our programming, manage our social media accounts, and maintain our .

Responsibilities Include:

Set specific marketing goals

Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets

Develop and implement digital campaigns to increase web traffic

Forecast market trends

Research market to identify new clients and opportunities

Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products

Address advertising needs including Google Ads with goal of 5%+ CTR

Work with branding professional to ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels

Establish a strong, long-term web presence

Anticipated Time Commitment : 3-5 hours per week
