One very important way to keep pets out of shelters is to ensure they can be returned to their owners if they get lost. That's why it's so important for cats and dogs to be microchipped! At this Pet ID event, we will be offering microchips for free (sponsored by BFAS NWA) for up to three pets per family and for up to three additional pets for just $10 each. We will also be offering custom engraved Pet ID tags.
We need volunteers to:
assist with set-up and tear-down
greet and welcome event attendees
help direct traffic
assist the vet and vet tech who will be doing the microchipping
ensure microchip barcode for each animal is recorded on the registrant spreadsheet
hand out pet ID tags and collect payment if needed
All volunteers must be wearing mask throughout the entire duration of the event. Please bring your own.
Every day, nearly 2,000 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters. But every day, there's something all of us can do to help save those animals. Together, we can Save Them All.
