Summary

We are looking for an Office Support Assistant who is passionate about mental health care to help with an ongoing project to organize documents and catalogue within a systematic filing system. The Support Assistant will be sorting and filing documents from boxes, and assisting staff in archiving efforts. The Support Assistant should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and feel comfortable organizing by alphabetizing. Straight Talk Clinic operates in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines: all visitors and employees must wear masks, be screened, and have their temperatures checked. Our team is always considerate of social distancing and are committed to reducing infection risks by disinfecting surfaces and working remotely if possible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide staff with clerical support (e.g. filing, data entry, scanning & copying, etc.)
• Assist staff by cataloging contents of archived documents
• Sequence documents, after they are vetted by staff, in an orderly manner
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must demonstrate sharp attention to detail
• Respect and maintain the confidentiality of Straight Talk Clinic’s volunteers, partners, and donors
• Proficient with various personal computer software applications (e.g. Microsoft Suite)
• Polished written and verbal communication skills
