Are you looking to use your crowdfunding and social media skills to create what could potentially be the most powerful social change tool of 2021?

If so, we are looking for an experienced crowdfunding campaign director or someone with such a mentor committed to saving Mother Nature and/or democracy in the little time we have. The goal is to raise at least $33k to run the beta test of our new concept nonviolent mass civil resistance recruitment tool, the first ever tool specifically designed to embolden, recruit and commit the numbers we need to win campaigns based around nonviolent civil resistance strategies. This new tool has the potential to be the biggest advance in nonviolent civil resistance organizing since Gandhi or King, hence the most important social change, system change tool of 2020 and 2021

The Organization:

GetCourageNow is the only international nonprofit tech activist team on the planet, that has developed software specifically designed to embolden, recruit, and commit massive enough numbers of supporters for nonviolent civil resistance strategies to win, filling an urgent gap not addressed by ActionNetwork, Mobilize, Outreach et.al.

And as the work of Erica Chenoweth has made clear, mass nonviolent civil resistance is our last best hope for saving Mother Nature, as well as winning the urgent economic, healthcare, and social justice battles we now face.

The Position:

• Setting up and running our Crowdfunding campaign
• First right of refusal option for ongoing social media director at a competitive salary if we achieve Proof of Concept (expected by end of February, possibly sooner)
• Initial Compensation: Negotiable, initially mostly commission based until funding arrives. Remote location and flexible hours, though possibly free housing if willing to move.

Requirements (preferred):

• You are a social media influencer or micro influencer (and/or have strong verifiable relationships with such) OR have a highly experienced mentor with such a contact.
• You know the basics of crowdfunding.
• You are experienced in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.
• You have promotional/digital marketing and messaging experience.
