Here at Gentiva Hospice we are looking for loving, caring people who love to help. We need volunteers who would like to go into the patients' homes and sit with the patient while the caregiver takes a break. You can hold their hand, read them a story, sing to them, just enjoy talking with them. There are no physical requirements you do not do any lifting or transferring of patient. Volunteers are not allowed to be in direct care of the patient.
