Hey there! Yes, YOU! Are you a high schooler looking to make an impact? Do you want to help a new nonprofit get up on its feet? Do you have some extra time that you would rather use to help others?

If you answered yes, then consider applying to CompPassion! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by high schoolers! Our mission is to teach computer science to human trafficking survivors and adolescents at risk of becoming victims to encourage them to pursue a STEM career, gain a new hobby, and have a brighter future!

Social Media Specialists

  • Responsibilities
    • Research and write Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn posts
    • Content includes organization updates, news relevant to human trafficking, and awareness about human trafficking (i.e. how to stay safe in public spaces and signs that someone is a victim)
    • Communicate with graphic designer
  • Requirements
    • Demonstrated interest in writing
    • Passionate about promoting social equality/justice
    • Research and create 1 post per week
    • Dedicate 2-3 hours a week

Description

We have hosted five successful sessions so far, but we want to expand! We are hoping to launch a new round of webinars for website development, app development, and Scratch in early 2021! Wr are looking for a great team to help us achieve those goals and help us make a bigger impact!
