Tree Mover Pod Pair:

  • this is a job for a pod
  • Pod/Pod Pair = 2-4 people that are family members/partners/roommates/co-habitants or close friends or co-workers with whom you’ve already been in close contact
  • Moves trees from church courtyard to customer's vehicle at curbside
  • Will be distanced by 6’ from all other volunteers

Wreath/Small Tree Movers:

  • Individual working alone, distanced from all volunteers
  • moves small trees/wreaths from church's courtyard to customer's vehicle at curbside
  • Good job for less strong volunteers
Things we are doing to keep volunteers safe from COVID-19:
  • checking volunteers temperature on arrival
  • distancing volunteers by 6' from all others but their pod member(s)
  • using a one-way traffic flow pattern to distance
  • ensuring all volunteers are keeping a well-fitting mask over their nose and mouth throughout the shift
  • utilizing hand sanitizer and wipes on surfaces
  • assigning a "COVID Lifeguard" to ensure policies
Under 14 year olds OK if with an adult. We're happy to have families volunteer together.

Please bring:

  • A well-fitting mask that covers your nose and mouth
  • Canvas yard-work type gloves
  • Holiday apparel/accessories
  • A pen
  • A water with your name on it or distinctive looking
  • Your holiday cheer

If you don’t have them, please still come. We’ll have some on hand.
