Position Objectives: Due to COVID-19 our organization is pivoting to a virtual online platform for our educational workshops and courses. We never really needed to rely on our website before, but now we are finding it crucial.

We need a Volunteer LMS ninja for our Wordpress website. We have workshop and classroom course presentations that we simply need copy/pasted and formatted into our LMS platform so they can be published as online LMS courses on our Wordpress website. We have started with Namaste LMS but we are prepared to switch to LearnDash, Sensei, or other free certificate-based Wordpress LMS if you have a proficiency with a different program.

Who You Are: You are an LMS-savvy Wordpress lover who finds fun in your work. Your efforts will have a direct impact in helping a not for profit women's professional and personal development organization deliver our message to a wider audience of women who need our services now more than ever.

You will be working directly with the Board of Directors to ensure you are supported and have all the tools you need for success in this endeavor. You will be shared into any relevant data and metrics of our LMS so that you can see the rewards of your work, and so you can show the world what you are capable of.

Your Role:

  • You will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in LMS management/creation, as well as at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Wordpress administration and/or development.
  • You will be the main point person in charge of the LMS project and will be given a bespoke admin account.
  • You will be skilled and knowledgeable regarding how to take a given course/class presentation and turn it into effective LMS modules, lessons, and courses.
  • You will be working directly with the Board of Directors including a 1-on-1 weekly virtual meeting with a member of the Board to go over goals.
  • You will be key in helping us determine the best workflow for creating future courses and workshops directly as LMS courses.
  • You will be registered for free as an HBICHQ Member for a year and featured in our Networking Directory.

Who We Are: HBICHQ (AKA: Head Boss* In Charge Headquarters) is built on the idea that women should have a dedicated support system and ready access to the tools and education to help them achieve financial freedom, regardless of their current situation. Our dedication is to see more Women Owned Businesses drive our future.

As a not for profit entity, our course programs support women-identified persons who are survivors of domestic abuse, homelessness, former foster youth, or faced other adversities.

We pledge to achieve this by empowering entrepreneurship and providing programs focusing on professional and personal development for all women-identified individuals.

COVID-19 considerations: Due to COVID-19 we have switched to a 100% Fully Remote Workplace, all meetings and offices are now virtual.
