Position Objective: Due to COVID-19 our organization is pivoting to a virtual online platform for our educational workshops and courses. We never really needed to rely on our website before, but now we are finding it crucial.

We need a Volunteer eLearning Creator for our Wordpress website. We have workshop and classroom course presentations that we simply need reworked to fit the format of our eLearning programs so they can be published as online courses on our website. We have pre-written articles and ebooks that we will be using for this, so the majority of the content is written, we just need someone who can take the lessons in the content and fit them into the formula we use in our interactive workshops.

Who You Are: You are a wordsmith who finds fun in your work. Your efforts will have a direct impact in helping a not for profit women's professional and personal development organization deliver our message to a wider audience of women who need our services now more than ever.

You will be working directly with the Board of Directors to ensure you are supported and have all the tools you need for success in this endeavor. You will be shared into any relevant data and metrics of the success of these programs as well as being able to use your creations in your own portfolio to show the world the great work you do.

Your Role:

  • You will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in content creation/editing.
  • You will be the main point person in charge of this project and will be given a bespoke admin account.
  • You will be skilled and knowledgeable regarding how to take a given course/class presentation and rework them into a given format.
  • You will be working directly with the Board of Directors including a 1-on-1 weekly virtual meeting with a member of the Board to go over goals.
  • You will be key in helping us determine the best workflow for creating future courses and workshops directly as online courses.
  • You will be registered for free as an HBICHQ Member for a year and featured in our Networking Directory.

We pledge to achieve this by empowering entrepreneurship and providing programs focusing on professional and personal development for all women-identified individuals.

COVID-19 considerations: Due to COVID-19 we have switched to a 100% Fully Remote Workplace, all meetings and offices are now virtual.
