ORGANIZATION: SCORE Westchester

SCORE Westchester offers free, confidential business advice to the small business community in Westchester County (NY). We serve both start-ups and existing businesses. We do this through personal mentoring sessions with seasoned business executives, and webinars on a wide range of business topics.

We are seeking two volunteers to help create content for our social media, website, blog, and video promotion efforts. Examples of content include client success stories, profiles of clients and mentors, advice for small businesses, highlights from webinars, and news for the Westchester business community.

Volunteers should have an interest in and general understanding of business and business practice; strong writing, editing, and research skills; and a commitment to helping us tell our story to Westchester entrepreneurs. Interest in/experience with video production would be a plus.

While these are virtual positions, we will give preference to volunteers who are located in Westchester County.
