SOGS or Small Online (Tutoring) Groups are short-term, once a week, ESL classes with one certified instructor supported by volunteer teachers assistants. As a teachers assistant, volunteers are expected guide and help students with any questions they have regarding the lesson they have just learned with the certified teacher.
SOGS gives us the ability to serve our ESL students in an online group setting, providing community and more flexibility during this difficult time. A SOGs session meets once a week for two hours.
