Do you like to sing and to bring Christmas joy? We are seeking volunteers to do Christmas Caroling at Area nursing homes. During this time of COVID, nursing home patients have been isolated. We want to bring joy to them by having volunteers sing Christmas songs. This will be done outside and the patients will come outside, but you will be a distance from them. Plan on singing for about 15- 30 minutes depending on the temperature.
This will be done at many Nursing Facilities in the OKC Metro, Edmond, Yukon, Mustang, Norman, etc. Volunteers may choose what part of the metro they would like to go to.
If you will let us know dates and times you are available during December we can schedule it. It needs to be morning or afternoon, patients are not available at night. Any day of the week is fine.

Description
An innovative concept in healthcare, Hospice brings together a team of specially trained professionals and volunteers who work with the patient's doctor to provide a plan of care designed to control the pain and ease end-of-life struggles for the patient and family. The Hospice Team is made up of professionals from a variety of disciplines and specially trained volunteers working under the stewardship of a Hospice medical director to meet the individual needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The Hospice Team also works with the patient and family's community of faith and/or other spiritual care resources, as requested.
