Are you ready to make a direct difference in the lives of people today?

Intrepid Hospice has opportunities with flexible and customized hours for the volunteer. You make your volunteering plan. All college students can use these volunteer hours on their resumes and help with recommendation letters in the future. All of our opportunities provide support to hospice patients and their caregivers.

  • Visiting patients
  • Reading to or with patients
  • Taking walks
  • Writing letters or journaling
  • Music or pet therapy
  • Prove respite and support for loved ones and caregivers
  • Administrative support
  • Office support including filing, faxes, emails, and mailings
  • Providing companionship for patients and their loved ones


The Volunteer Coordinator will work with you directly to customize your volunteering to meet your exact needs and time available. You will find your own life enriched as you build relationships in the community, with patients, and their loved ones. You GET THE OPPORTUNITY to enter sacred spaces with people. YOU WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE.
