Music Therapy Hospice Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: Transitions Hospice, LLC
Please visit the new page to apply.
Transitions Hospice is currently seeking music therapy volunteers!
You do not need to be a certified music therapist to make a difference in a hospice patient's life. Music therapy has been proven to alleviate stress, relieve symptoms of dementia and Parkinson's, and provide comfort to terminally ill patients.
We are encouraging all volunteers to observe physical distancing, hand-washing, and masking guidelines. But the power of music can still allow you to reach out and touch the heart of someone who needs it most!
Volunteers are needed in Polk, Dallas, Hickory, St. Clair, Greene, and Cedar counties in Missouri, so if you are musically inclined and want to volunteer in a position where you can share your talents, you may apply by calling 417-777-2703.
