Every year Foster Care to Success sends out care packages to our college age students for Valentines Day. Generous people from all over the country donate hand knitted red scarves to include in these packages.

All scarves need to be sorted and organized so we can send them out to our students in different parts of the country. (From Sunny AZ to snowy Northern OH)

Our students have aged out of foster care and often this care package is the only one they get while in school.

We would love for college students on their extended winter breaks to consistently volunteer with us!

We will be requiring masks and asking our volunteers to be healthy according to CDC guidelines. We will be disinfecting work spaces in between volunteer shifts and gloves will be available. If you'd like additional accommodations please reach out to us with any questions or requests.

Offer direct opportunities for citizens, business and civic organizations to assist older foster youth.

Description

Since 1981, Foster Care to Success (FC2S) has served thousands of foster teens across the United States. Whether we're providing young people with scholarships, connecting them with internships and mentors, sending them care packages, or testifying before Congress and state legislatures, FC2S is a passionate champion of foster youth.

Over 91 cents out of every dollar donated to OFA goes directly to assist the young people served.
