eCYBERMISSION is recruiting volunteers to serve as Ambassadors of our program to their local communities.
eCYBERMISSION, an Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) project, is an annual web-based STEM competition for 6 th to 9 th grade students that promotes teamwork, self-discovery, and the real-life applications of STEM. Teams of 3 to 4 students, with the help of a Team Advisor, create projects that identify and solve problems in their community while competing for State, Regional, and National Awards.
Ambassadors are advocators of STEM. The Ambassador role is ideal for individuals, either civilian or military, engaged in their communities and eager to support STEM education through outreach and networking. Many of our Ambassadors are teachers, college professors, STEM professionals, involved in military service, or parents of a past eCYBERMISSION student.
The Ambassador role prioritizes year-round networking to raise awareness for and increase local participation with the program. Depending on their networks, Ambassadors focus on engaging and networking with schools, organizations, and individuals in their communities to recruit volunteers, team advisors, students, teachers, schools, or organizations. During the COVID-19 pandemic all outreach may be conducted virtually.
