Quick Overview: Join the fun of joyfully feeding our beloved homeless U.S. Vets and other beloved homeless peoples on Skid Row
Impact: We joyfully bring together volunteers to serve our beloved homeless community with a smile, empathy and resources to inspire the hope and love that motivate our homeless U.S. Vets and other homeless people to positively get back into society ASAP.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: Volunteers will joyfully bring a cooked food dish that volunteers will serve with a smile. Then they will clean up, take a group picture and hear a 5-minute verbal invite to volunteer throughout the year.
Requirements:
To get the Zoom link for orientation, call 626-277-3457 ask for Coach Ron the one and only.
Each adult volunteer is asked to bring an ID, passport or school ID to site and $20 to cover a background check
Each volunteer is asked to bring a cooked food dish that you will serve
To participate you need to get the Zoom link for orientation
Accessibility: Street parking and wheelchair accessible and we'll be joyfully outside in open space
Additional Description: Joyfully bring your smiles, a cooked food dish and positive support as we joyfully serve 2023 Summer Fun to our beloved homeless U.S. Vets and other beloved homeless people living on the streets of Skid Row. The pandemic has made it very clear that our beloved homeless peoples are hurting and need some help from volunteers this holiday season. Thanks for your positive support and look forward to seeing you all there.

We clean sweep the side walks of world famous skid row on Saturdays 9am-11am
we need sweeper to sweep the side walks then bag and dump trash in local dumper? water the flower bed? power wash the side walks,paint donated trash cans, paint murals, plant trees, bring food to feed the homeless vets, read out loud to kids every Thursday for 10mins then give a 5 mins Q&A on why reading is fun, cook food to bring for Xmas eve feeding, collect and give out winter coats, do data entry, phone banking, marketing, and branding design.
