THE COALITION OF VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS BASED IN CHICAGO IS SETTING UP OUTPOSTS IN URBAN NEIGHBORHOODS AND TO TOWNS AND VILLAGES TO LOOK OUT FOR THE WELL BEING OF VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO MAY BE EXPERIENCING TRIALS ATTRIBUTED IN PART TO THE MILITARY SERVICE OF THEIR LOVED ONES.

SUCH VETERAN SENTINEL/NAVIGATORS WOULD ESTABLISH LINKS WITH NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING SCHOOLS, LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, FAITH BASED INSTITUTIONS, AND OTHERS AND COLLABORATE WITH THEM TO ASSURE THAT THE WELL BEING OF VETERANS AND THEIR LOVED ONES WOULD BE PROTECTED AND THEIR DIGNITY PRESERVED.

ANOTHER ASPECT OF THIS ENDEAVOR MIGHT BE FACILITY OF MILITARY FAMILY/VETERANS UNITED ORGANIZATIONS TO FOSTER CONNECTIONS AMONG VETERANS THEMSELVES AS WELL AS MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.

CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
