Mission Statement

We help immigrant and refugee women achieve social integration in their new community by connecting them with Austin women for one/to/one conversation and fellowship.

Description

Ladies Let's Talk (LLT) is a non-profit organization committed to ending the social isolation of immigrant and refugee women by connecting them with Austin women. Since April 2018 LLT has held conversation sessions between immigrant and refugee women who are learning English and Austin women volunteers. Over 100 English Learners have now participated in these sessions. With the distancing restrictions of Covid-19, we have moved our sessions online using the Zoom platform. Currently sessions are 90 minutes long, held on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings. More information is available on our website.
