Talk on Zoom in a group of 20 English Learners and 20 English-speaking Volunteers from throughout the US. Talk in large, medium and small breakout rooms. Each week's conversation has a theme to stimulate discussion, but anything can be discussed: food, kids, travel, American customs, etc. It's lots of fun and a great way to learn about other cultures. Women from over 78 countries have come to use their English and learn more about their new community.

Mission Statement
The mission of Ladies Let's Talk is to help refugee and immigrant women achieve a sense of belonging in their new community. This is accomplished by connecting them with women volunteers for language practice, navigating daily life, and fostering friendship and sisterhood​
Description
Ladies Let’s Talk is a nationwide initiative designed to foster connections and support among women from diverse backgrounds, particularly focusing on refugee and immigrant women adapting to their new country and community. By volunteering with Ladies Let's Talk, you'll have the unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of these women, helping them to navigate daily life, improve their language skills, and find a sense of belonging in their new community. This is a chance to build meaningful friendships, learn about different cultures, and contribute to building a more inclusive society. Whether you're passionate about mentoring, cultural exchange, or simply want to extend a hand of friendship, your participation can empower these women to feel more confident and connected in their new home.
