Her Choice Advocacy is seeking a podcast Manager & Cohost to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling episodes for shows on the network; communicating with podcasters and freelancers that also help with the network;
• Assisting in editing, uploading, and reviewing episodes for the network.
• Assisting in helping me keep up with other tasks in running the network. (e.g. finding guests, social media management, etc.)
• Updating links for promotion and marketing;
• Research topics such as incest, rape, sexual assault conception, sexual assault, human trafficking, covert condom removal, and incest.
• Review the podcasts & write blog posts outlining what was talked about in that episode for the show notes.
• Flexible hours and attend team meetings (remotely)
• Hosting productions
• Securing podcast sharing platforms
• Promote HCA_Hear Her Voice Podcast
• Professionally represent the organization as a co-host on the podcast

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct accurate Internet research
• Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and organization
• Able to speak and write fluently in English
• Determined and resourceful problem solver
• Self-motivated, takes initiative and is driven
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

• Must be comfortable working alone and/or remotely
• Experience working on a previous Podcast, Radio, or Media position preferred
• Experience in a support role preferred (e.g. Executive assistant, media assistant, personal assistant etc.)
• Experience with Adobe Audition or another audio editing software.(e.g Audacity, GarageBand etc.)
• Experience with Photo editing tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Spark, Lightroom etc)
• Ability to anticipate change and think outside of the box

This job would require a few hours of work each week but can be done either virtually or in person at our office located at 124 Pearl St. Suite 307, Ypsilanti, MI 48108.
