ListenForLife has a new project called "Against the Noise" (ATN) using specifically-created healing music which is downloaded on a particular brand of sterilize-able mp3 players to be placed in hospital ICUs caring for Covid and other seriously ill patients to counteract the noise of the constantly beeping monitors, which have been shown to cause neurological damage over time. We have specific hospitals willing to partner with us in this project, in USA, Israel, Kenya, Palestine, and other locations, but we need to research, find and cement partnerships with many other hospitals, ICUs and hospice centers, across the USA in particular. We also need these volunteers to manage a virtual online crowdfunding campaign to raise funds towards the purchase of these mp3 players which are needed for the continued activation of this ATN project.

"Our mission is to raise awareness of music's power as a channel of communication and healing. We serve music by serving musicians: we inspire and enable them to use their gifts in the service of others, through a variety of LFL outreach projects, educational productions, and live music programs that make an impact in their communities and beyond."
Listen for Life is a 22-yr old nonprofit service organization, using music to make a difference in a variety of projects and programs worldwide, from refugee camps to saving music cultures on broadcast media networks, and from hospitals and orphanages to major school districts and music festival productions, We have thus far impacted the lives of over 10million individuals in over 50 countries. Current projects needing volunteers include NFN LIVE ONline concerts (NotesForNourishment.org) that raise funds for a variety of nonprofit causes; creating additional media units to add to our award-winning cross-cultural resource TravelsWithMusic.com; and our "Against the Noise" (ATN) project designed specifically to address Covid-19 issues for health care staff and patients in hospital ICUs at this time.
