Full Job Description
Her Choice Advocacy is seeking someone with a strong customer-service orientation, respect for employee confidentiality, and a keen eye for systems and processes to allow us to improve, update, and sustain our volunteer base for a growing team. The Volunteer Coordinator will support day-to-day tasks to meet strategic, tactical and administrative objectives across the organization. This includes responding to phone and email inquiries regarding volunteer opportunities, scheduling interviews, managing job postings and other volunteer coordination tasks as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding HCA volunteer opportunities
- Serve as a main point of contact for active and prospective volunteers
- Recruit, orient, and onboard new volunteers
- Scheduling interviews
- Maintaining email inbox
- Maintaining volunteer job postings
- Initiating background check requests
- Establish initiatives for volunteer recognition
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be able to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week to this position. No prior experience necessary. Experience with Zoom, VolunteerMatch, and Google Drives a plus.

Her Choice Advocacy’s purpose is to give intellectual, moral and social instruction to society on why all women who conceived through sexual assault and the children conceived should be protected by law, have social inclusion, and be free from re-victimization.
We seek to provide supportive services, resource assistance, advocacy, social inclusion, public awareness, and campaigning for policy provisions. Further, we wish to educate professionals, advocates, legislatures, and leaders on how to articulate proper comprehensive, culturally sensitive based services and support for women who conceived from sexual assault.
