Anime For Humanity is a 501(c)(3) charity non-profit dedicated to using Anime, Cosplay, and Video Games as a medium to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health.

We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Manager with creative, adaptable, and excellent writing skills to generate engaging, original content for our social media platforms.

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content (images, video, etc.) to raise awareness for mental health through anime and the fandom.
  • Graphic design experience is recommended (Yes, we use Canva!)
  • Schedule three weeks of content in advance (one post a day minimum)
  • Monitoring responses and engaging with others to better understand the audience.
  • Staying current on anime and mental health trends (both in the news and in popular culture) for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.
  • Strong Writing/Editing Skills


    Social media experience is recommended!

We believe Anime. Cosplay, Video Games and everything fandom give us an opportunity to move people from isolation to community, from pain to hope and healing. There are many who suffer from mental health silently. They might not be ready to reach out or find the courage to step into therapy. Our mission is to reach them and provide them with hope and the mental health resources they need.
