Deep clean carpets in small apartment.
The apartment is 1bedroom 1 bath, handicapped accessible. There are carpets in the living room, small hallway, and the bedroom. There is some furniture that can be moved, but some will have to be cleaned around. Client has a lift chair recliner that is heavy, but if it can be moved that would be great. The client has no pets and does not smoke.
A carpet cleaning machine would be rented for the volunteer to use.
COVID-19 precautions: Volunteers would have to follow FSR guidelines; temperature check prior to volunteering, mask and gloves worn while helping along with social distancing from the homeowner. Homeowner must wear a mask while the volunteer is in the home as well
**Volunteer must complete a background check prior to volunteering. This can be done online and free of charge to volunteer.

Family Service Rochester (FSR) is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of services addressing mental health, child wellbeing, family stability, and senior independence.
FSR was founded in 1965 with a staff of three and the mission to support and enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in the community. From that small start-up offering counseling and homemaker services, the agency has grown to provide more than 30 programs to meet ever-changing community needs. Volunteers are vital to excellent service delivery to those individuals and families we work with.
