An hour of your time can put over $1000 into the hands of a person experiencing poverty. Join our volunteer community this January-April to help low-income community members receive free tax filing assistance. Volunteer from home or in-person, your choice.

Greeter Position: Don’t love numbers? There is so much work for you! We’ll ask you to greet participants, schedule appointments, organize documents, and help everyone stay safe from COVID-19.

Screener Position: Not ready to prepare taxes? Volunteer from home or in-person to interview taxpayers and communicate information to Tax Preparers.

Trainings: Trainings will be offered in December and January. Contact us for more details.

COVID-19 Response: Our priority is to do our part to keep our community safe, but we understand that not every participant has access to our virtual tax preparation service. To eliminate a digital barrier, we also offer a hybrid service during which we follow rigorous safety procedures. See our webpage below for more details.

Overall Commitment: Expect to commit 3-4 hours on training and 1 shift per week January 26th - April 15th.
