Social Distance Monitors (Needed to Drop Boxes of Food into Vehicles)

ORGANIZATION: Community Action Partnership of Orange County

Hi All,

The Community Action Partnership of Orange County Food Bank is looking for a few Social Distancing Monitor volunteers to assist us at several Distribution Site locations (viewable through www.capoc.volunteerhub.com) to place boxes of food into our Senior Participants' trunk vehicles. Boxes are approximately 40 pounds each and the volunteer opportunity will last anywhere from about an hour to 3.5 hours depending on the location and need. We can also sign off for any volunteer/ community service hours you may need to complete. If you are interested please register as a volunteer and sign up at www.capoc.volunteerhub.com making sure to choose the exact location you would like or that is closest to you as we do have a few other locations available. We provide food to the hungry, afterschool programs, family services, conduct community development activities, afterschool programs, mentoring, provide refurbish computers to low-income kids, distribute food and clothing to help families transition off welfare; etc.
