LONA's mission is to invest in women's ability to create economic opportunity for themselves and others. We strive to contribute to a world where every woman is empowered to transform her own life. Our programming is simple but impactful: through small grants, pro-bono services, and access to "social capital," we offer the support a woman may need to jumpstart her education or entrepreneurial dreams.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting women’s economic empowerment and have the ability to engage an audience within their social media network.

As a Social Media Ambassador, you will be responsible for raising awareness around LONA’s virtual fundraising events for our COVID-19 relief grant program. You will play a critical role in community outreach, social media marketing, and increasing the impact of our virtual events.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently promote upcoming virtual events within your social media network and event sharing platforms
  • Engage with your community and share LONA’s mission and virtual events
  • Research virtual activities people within your community would be interested in by posting surveys and polls on your social media
  • Collaborate with the virtual events committee and social media team to brainstorm social media strategies and outreach opportunities
