Ushers

Assists patrons before, during, and after performances by directing them to their seats, helping them navigate in the dark, and monitoring audience behavior, safety, and comfort. Must be able to provide excellent customer service, remain calm and act quickly in the event of an issue or emergency, and understand CPPAC accessibility services. Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

Ticket Takers
Greets patrons and tears or scans their tickets as they enter the theatre, and assists by answering questions. Must be able to provide excellent customer service, understand CPPAC layout, and stand for more than an hour.

Box Office Will Call
Will Call volunteers are responsible for assisting CPPAC staff with handing out will call tickets-tickets which have already been paid for. They should be able to provide excellent customer service and follow CPPAC policies and procedures for ticket retrieval.

Description

The Central Park Performing Arts Center is a multi-purpose facility featuring a 443-seat theatre and 200-person grand ballroom, as well as the Historic Largo Feed Store which holds 100. The Center promotes and encourages performing arts among the Tampa Bay community, hosting a variety of national, regional, and local artists and groups. Each space is fully equipped to rent for corporate functions, company
meetings, receptions, and special events.
