Individuals with a background in public health, health care fields, or community organizing are invited to apply to be COVID-19 Public Health volunteers. Public Health volunteers are primarily asked to assist with contact tracing, a crucial public health activity to identify individuals that an infected patient came into contact with and prevent further disease spread.
Please go to www.Michigan.gov/FightCOVID19 or https://newmibridges.michigan.gov/s/ct-public-volunteer?language=en_US to fill out the application for Public Health volunteer, and you will receive a message notifying you if volunteer opportunities are available in the coming days or weeks.
Note that volunteer opportunities will be remote and volunteers must have internet access and a computer to volunteer as a COVID-19 Contact Tracer.
