Job-Readiness Coach (bilingual Spanish/English)

Position Summary: The Navigator Program is part of the Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative (Prosper Portland program) and designed to support social equity-based community economic development at the neighborhood level. WorkSource Navigators work within a citywide network to foster economic opportunity and vitality throughout Portland neighborhoods, with a focus on low-income populations and communities of color. The Volunteer Job-Readiness Coach is needed to assist program participants with writing and reviewing resumes and prepare them for interviews. General application assistance and job placement assistance.

Location: Remote


Bi-lingual Spanish speaking volunteer preferred as most participants are Spanish speakers. Experience working with diverse individuals, preferred mature experience in the workforce, ability to follow volunteer policies, ability to maintain effective communication with staff, clients and local professionals. Organized, detail- oriented and willing to document project activities.

Time Commitment: Flexible, weekly/bi-monthly basis preferred

Age Requirement: 18 years and older
