A Tutor For Change (AT4C) is providing virtual tutoring/homework help 5 days a week for grades 1-12 in all subjects. You can choose the days, times, ages, and subjects that work best for you (Monday through Friday), but we do require a minimum of one hour a week for this position. This session will run for 6 weeks with 5 active weeks, we will take a break for Thanksgiving week.
The program is facilitated through Google Classrooms and Google Meet. A True Change (ATC) also uses Workplace by Facebook as our Virtual Office (Note: Workplace by Facebook does not require a Facebook account to use, and is in no way connected with a personal Facebook account.).
ATC is deeply rooted in the community and emphasizes respect, diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do. Our volunteers are an integral part of ATC, and we foster an organizational culture that encourages all people to express their ideas and concerns and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
Please note: This session is the pilot for the AT4C program. Future sessions will likely be approximately 10 weeks long. Also in the future, hopefully from January, we are planning to start including educational activities that build critical thinking skills and are delivered through a social justice lens.

A True Change (ATC), is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in Denver, Colorado. Minorities with lifelong, rooted connections to Denver's low-income communities of color developed and operate A True Change. ATC works to bridge the gap between the community and systemic challenges preventing success in vulnerable populations. Unique factors separate A True Change (ATC) from the other community-based organizations; as a online, cloud-based, paperless organization, ATC operates by an International Organization's standard.

- Must be at least 16
- Orientation or Training
- At least one hour per week, from November 9- December 18 (excluding Thanksgiving week). The next session will begin in January, you are free to continue on with the same or different schedule, or you can stop at the end of the session.
