Christmas Caroling to Nursing Homes December

ORGANIZATION: Frontier Hospice and Transitional Care

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Christmas Caroling to nursing homes in Shawnee. Because of COVID nursing home patients cannot have visitors. We are scheduling groups to do Christmas Caroling in December. The caroling will be done outside and the residents will come out side to hear the caroling. Volunteers will be some distance from the patients and they will wear mask. So you do not have to worry about COVID.

There are two nursing homes in Shawnee that we would like volunteers to carol at. The times would be December 1 - Dec 24th. Estimated time would be 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM Monday to Sunday. Volunteers are able to choose which days and time you would like to sing. Time commitment would be 15-30 minutes depending on the temperature.

This will make the residents of these nursing homes so happy. They have been so lonely since the pandemic. You can take candy canes to give to the residents if you like
