We are still short on volunteers for this Saturday's drive-thru vaccination event! Can you help?

We offer low-cost vaccinations and microchipping, drive-thru style, to pet owners through these offsite events, making it easier for people to access care for their pets. During the event, clients will not leave their vehicles, and pets will be transferred to our enclosed Mobile Vet Unit for vaccinations when it's their turn.

This clinic takes place on Saturday, July 22nd from 9a-12p. Volunteers and staff are needed on-site from 8a-1p.

Volunteers are needed to help in these areas:

  • Traffic Control
  • Customer Service
  • TLC (tag/license/chip team)
  • Cash Handling
  • Resource Table (free treats and pet supplies)
  • Tech/Support

Volunteers in these roles must:

  • be able to work outdoors
  • be able to walk/stand for long periods
  • have good communication skills
  • have good people skills
  • be organized

COVID SAFETY NOTE- All community clinics are now held outdoors as a drive thru vaccination clinic. Volunteers will have access to facemasks and shields. Social distancing will be enforced and clients will be asked to remain in their vehicles.

Our mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention, and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need.

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2002. We're the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area, working to help all families in need regardless of financial means. Our unique approach provides exceptional customer service and high standards of care through commitment to our core values.

We educate and assist families to improve their pet's quality of life, increase the animal-human-bond and make long term positive impacts in our community and animal welfare.

We pride ourselves in acknowledging our diverse community with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Our programs target families who need assistance with education, wellness, and resources to help their pets live a long, healthy and happy life.
