Must be in our service area to be considered (Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Hendry and Okeechobee County)
Requirements for local Testers
* Attend 2-hour Virtual training (Zoom - Earn $25 for training time)
* 18+ years of age
* Be an objective & careful observer
* Keep accurate notes as to what transpires
* Record & Submit the testing experience on standard report forms in a timely manner
* Be available for the 2-hour testing session
* "Trained" Testers are paid up to $60 per test, plus mileage
* Have no felony record

Description

The Legal Aid Society's Fair housing Project "FHP" provides community outreach, education, advocacy and enforcement of all federal, state and local housing laws to ensure that no Palm Beach County resident is denied access to housing based upon his/her race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, marital status, familial status, age, and / or sexual orientation.
