Board Position: Board Member with a background in School Education/Administration for the Extraordinary Lives Foundation (ELF)
ELF was founded in 2015, our mission is to improve children's mental health and wellness and support families by providing awareness, educational tools, and resources.
ELF focuses on the following four areas:
Hosting mental health awareness events.
Creating therapeutic tools for children utilizing our Piggie Bear products.
Providing educational resources for parents, parents to be and teachers.
Bridging the gap between traditional and holistic healing options.
As a grassroots organization, we are in the process of building the board strategically and developing our give/get policy. We are looking for a new volunteer Board member to fill the seat of general board member with a School Education/Administrative background. This role requires the board member to attend virtual / in-person monthly board meetings in Orange County (on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm PST) and utilize their skills to expand ELF"s contacts and connections throughout Orange County and beyond.
Who you are:
Passionate about supporting young children and their families
Has a background or experience working as a teacher and/or administrator in Education
in Pre-k through Elementary school.
