The "Bringing The Holidays To The Children" 13th annual Holiday Gift Drive ensures children stuck in hospitals, agencies and clinics during the holidays receive gifts.. And YOU have the opportunity to feel GREAT as the Gift Drive Director!!
As the Director:
A. You'll be acknowledged on social media and on our website (www.LeagueOfHeroesInspired.org)!
B. Our 12 or so Site Coordinators report to you on the status of each Gift Drive Site!
C. You'll contribute about 2 hours/week for the weeks between November 16 & December 23rd - Handled per YOUR schedule!
D. And you will feel SUPER GREAT knowing you played a vital role in helping kids who can't be home for the holidays have Christmas in their hospital/agency/clinic rooms!! (These are children who are often terminal, suffering with horrible diseases, Cancer, effects of bad accidents, loss of family and/or their homes)

The League of Heroes Inspired is committed to inspiring children to recognize and access their Hero Within!
Description
The LHI (League of Heroes Inspired) is based in Sacramento, CA, wholly empowered by caring Volunteers who want to uniquely actually make a real difference in the lives of children, particularly those who've experienced trauma.
We play (fully in character) the archetypal Princesses and SuperHeroes who had traumatic childhoods, as we interact with children in trauma centers, hospitals and agencies. Those of us TCA-Certified (Therapeutic Cosplay Actor) inspire the kids to change their self-images from "Victims" to "Heroes".
And we have a big gift drive during the holiday season (12th annual as of 2019), collecting gifts for the children who are stuck in regional hospitals over the holidays. These agencies receive the gifts:
* Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance (children battling Cancer)
* Ticket to Dream Foundation (foster children)
* Shriner's Children's Hospital
* Sutter Children's Health
And boy, can we use some help with our big holiday gift drive!!
