The Erie Neighborhood House is looking for a volunteer to support our ESL Tutors by providing technical assistance. Our tutors and students are connecting virtually at the moment due to COVID-19. Most of the tech support needed is very basic; helping tutors with ways to use Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp or any platform to teach ESL classes to community members.
If you also have experience in tutoring or teaching, you could expand this role to provide support on topics such as techniques or curriculum/lesson planning, particularly within a virtual environment.
This opportunity will allow you to make a lasting impact on your community and is flexible. You can choose your own schedule, offering help to tutors at least once a week (any day or time), either over email or phone. This opportunity is 100% virtual.
