Anyone can become a volunteer! Being a hospice volunteer is a great way to gain experience in the healthcare industry. We are looking for individuals who desire a rewarding and meaningful experience while also bringing a professional and genuine attitude.

Some information on our onboard process: after inquiry, all of our prospective volunteers are required to: interview with the volunteer coordinator , submit a background check (free of charge), provide proof of a physical examination in the past 12 months. Once an individual is accepted into the program we will assign them an orientation date which will include 5-10 hours of training, certification certificate. After orientation is complete, volunteers will be assigned a position.

Volunteers we are looking for:

1. Admin volunteers are individuals who will work in the office and support our office staff.
2. Volunteers who are interested in being a pen-pal to patients and transitioning into in person patient volunteer once permitted.
3. Volunteers who may be interested in making art for patients I.e (paintings, drawings, etc.)
4. Volunteers interested in music therapy for patients.
5. Volunteers interested in life review with patients.
