The Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada is looking for Marketing and Outreach volunteers to help us with our newest national signature event, The Longest Day. You are invited to join The Longest Day Marketing and Outreach Subcommittee where you will help to create awareness about The Longest Day and promote the event.
Responsibilities of Marketing and Outreach volunteers include:
- Looking for new and creative promotional opportunities within the community.
- Working with staff to identify participant stories for media, posting on social media, etc.
- Coordinating the delivery of collateral materials to distribution points within the community.
- Helping to identify opportunities to expand outreach into diverse communities.
The Longest Day is all about love. Love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Between now and Saturday, June 20, 2020, people across the world will do what they love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s. Together, we will raise funds and awareness for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
