Once snow begins to fall, our friends & neighbors need assistance clearing snow! From safely walking to their mailbox to getting wood from their shed, we need volunteers who are willing to pave the way *literally* for elderly and disabled members of our community to stay safe this winter.
Whether you are available throughout the winter or from time to time, we will work with your schedule. You can provide much needed support to your community all while staying safe and maintaining social distancing and following proper PPE and sanitation guidelines.
Volunteer Services supports low-income seniors and adults living with disabilities by helping out at home. Assignments can range from transportation, grocery shopping or other errands, small home repairs, moving assistance, or yard care. With your help, clients can live safely and independently in their homes. Opportunities available across Kittitas County! We will provide you with an orientation and training as well as ongoing support. Contact us to start your application today!
About Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington
5301 TIETON DR STE C, YAKIMA, WA 98908, US
Motivated by Christ's love, we bring hope to life, especially for those most in need.
YOU ARE CATHOLIC CHARITIES. YOUR CARING AND GENEROSITY BRINGS HOPE TO LIFE FOR THOSE MOST IN NEED.
Often we are blind to the needs right here in our own communities. People hurting or struggling don’t always know where to turn for help. That is why Catholic Charities provides specialized services to people of all faiths, to make sure Central Washington families can find the support they need to bring hope back to their lives. Helping the most vulnerable among us, Catholic Charities is the compassionate face of Jesus to nearly 50,000 people throughout Central Washington each year. The challenge to serve our brothers and sisters comes from Jesus in Matthew 25: "Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me."
