Hope for the Silent Voices

  • 3 people are interested

We are an organization which directly combats child exploitation and vulnerabilities. We operate a safehouse for girls in Southeast Asia and love what we are doing. The work is challenging but the rewards of doing things that are important + life changing are so worthwhile.

Due to the success of our programs we are looking to expand our efforts and take in additional children into our care. As such, staying present and relevant via social media is important to us. Social media is a tremendous conduit to share about our journey, challenges, wins and needs. We also need some help assembling lists of potential donor and funding platforms in order to achieve this growth. The better our sustainability the better off our children will benefit presently and once they age out of our care and custody.

This volunteer opportunity is virtual and has plenty of latitude as far as your schedule. We prefer someone with the following traits:

  • Passion for children
  • Savvy with Social Media (Instagram and Twitter)
  • Good discernment of relevant internet searches
  • Strong communicator
  • Good heart and cool person

Help us continue to be a "voice for the vulnerable."

About Hope for the Silent Voices

Mission Statement

Hope For The Silent Voices is a not-for-profit organization founded to bring attention and resources to the severely neglected, disadvantaged, abused and discarded globally. Hope For the Silent Voices is committed to giving a "voice" to these individuals and groups as they have neither the resources nor the means for doing it themselves.

We endeavor to have a positive influence on those we encounter by not just hearing these "silent voices" but listening to what they are saying. One of our goals is to forge dynamic personal relationships with those in need and to explore significant ways to enhance the quality of these individuals’ lives and futures. We believe all people deserve the opportunity to be treated like human beings and demonstrate this by "being a voice to the vulnerable, globally."
