Deliver a Thanksgiving meal and share warmth & companionship over the phone with an older neighbor!

Volunteers will:

  • Pick up the meal at DOROT.
  • Drop off the meal at the senior's front door on Manhattan's East or West Side.
  • Connect with the senior by phone to share good wishes for the holiday season!

Dates:
Sunday, November 21 & Monday, November 22

Pick up location:
DOROT - 171 W. 85th St. (off Amsterdam Ave.)
OR
SAFRA CENTER - 130 E 82nd St. (near Lexington Ave.)

Note that each volunteer must register separately. Groups that want to volunteer together should decide in advance on a convenient time and register for the same time slot or back to back time slots. Advance registration is required and must be completed by Wed., Nov. 18th. A US government issued photo ID is also required of each volunteer.

Please note: Volunteers for this program wear face coverings throughout the duration of their participation and meet DOROT's COVID-19 Safety Guidelines.
