Description of Work:

With our current expansion and our exciting projections for future growth, ReKaivery is looking for a social media intern. ReKaivery is searching for an intern to promote brand awareness and develop connections through Mailchimp, Instagram, and Facebook.

The Social Media intern should have a passion for digital communications, be able to identify digital media trends, possess knowledge in creating and managing digital content, and be fluent in promoting inclusiveness in all marketing. This position develops content for various channels including videos, photos, and graphics for social media, websites, and email campaigns. We are seeking a candidate with creativity and some experience in web marketing platforms.

An introduction session will be scheduled once the intern is notified of their position to ensure a smooth onboarding process. The position reports to ReKaivery’s Director of Communications.

Intern Benefits:

This internship is ideal for anyone wanting to showcase their marketing work with a registered non-profit to build their portfolio for future employment opportunities. While gaining applicable experience as an intern, this position also presents the opportunity to claim documented volunteer hours.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Interest in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field
  • Some experience (practical and/or academic) in professional communications or marketing
  • Excellent writing, grammar and editing skills
  • Ability to develop posts through creation of videos or photography
  • Familiarity with MailChimp, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Compliance with all of ReKaivery’s corporate values

  • Great team player and able to express creativity, enthusiasm, and humor in a collaborative environment
  • Self-starting, independent worker

Description

ReKaivery is a 501(c)3 founded in amidst of COVID-19. Our mission is to recover local food networks through connecting local farmers with local commercial kitchens on an online platform. This connection promotes locality, seasonality, decreases loss of produce, and increases economic prosperity within Fort Collins, Colorado. ReKaivery formed in June 2020. Since then, we have expanded along the Front Range to reach many farmers and kitchens interested in our services. ReKaivery is decreasing the carbon footprint of the U.S. Food Supply Chain by bringing people closer to their food source.

ReKaivery believes boundaries of comfort bind your potential. ReKaivery values questioning the status quo, diversity, taking ownership, always learning and empowering each other.
